Actor Raghava Lawrence’s last biggie was the horror comedy flick Kanchana 3 which featured Oviya, Vedhika, Kovai Sarala, Sriman, Devadharshini, Delhi Ganesh and others in key roles. Written and directed by the actor himself, the movie was released on April 19th and it was blockbuster at the box-office.
It is notable that the Telugu and Kannada versions of the film also did wonders at the box office. The actor turned the spot light on him again a little while ago, when he announced that he will be directing the Hindi remake of his 2012 film 'Kanchana 2' with Akshay Kumar reprising him and marking his Bollywood directorial debut with 'Laxmmi Bomb'.
While the shooting of the flick in on-going, from our sources, we have been informed that the multi-faced Lawrence will be teaming up with director Lingusamy for his acting next in Tamil. The exciting information on this project is that, this will be the remake of the Telugu blockbuster film 'Rangasthalam' which starred Ram Charan and Samantha in the lead roles.
Also, this upcoming film will be produced by Bollywood film makers 'Pen India Limited' based in Mumbai. The team is yet to finalise on the other cast and crew for now, and the official announcements are expected soon. Stay tuned for more updates.
