Earlier in 2018, we saw the release of Varun Tej and Raashi Khanna starrer Tholi Prema. Now, after many months, Vijay Deverakonda's Geetha Govindam hit the screens. The film has Raashmika Mandanna playing the female lead.

Hot rumors are afloat on the internet that actress Lavanya Tripathi, who starred in films like Bhale Bhale Magadivoy and Inttelligent, was initially offered the lead role in both the above-mentioned films.

She started to face trolls for having rejected these two films that turned out to be super hits. But now, she has hit back at the trollers for the same and has termed these as rumors.

When somebody tweeted saying she had rejected the offers to be a part of these films, she retweeted and replied, "Fake news alert!"

Later, she added, "Just because i like to remain quite on few rumours it doesn’t mean i will let people talk whatever they want to😊"
