Popular TV actress VJ Chithu was a household name in the state and her sudden death has shocked not only the entire family and friends but also the celebrities and fans as well. She had shot to more fame through her Mullai character in Vijay TV’s popular serial, Pandian Stores.
As per the actress’ father’s request for a proper investigation into her death from the police, it is said that the investigation has begun and the co-stars are being summoned for questioning by the police.
Meanwhile, the body is kept in Kilpauk Medical Hospital’s mortuary for the autopsy procedures. In a heart-breaking video, Chitra’s mother could be seen crying inconsolably and states that her daughter was not a coward and was considered as a role model. She could not have taken this extreme step, she was beaten to death!
