Behindwoods Gold awards 2018 conducted last evening, June 17th in Chennai Trade Centre. The event was a solid success and we were blessed to have the presence of prominent actors from the industry.

Dance master Shobi was awarded the best choreographer award at BGM 2018, his wife Lalitha Shobi who collected the award on his behalf spoke about Vijay at the function. Check out her speech and the full video:

"It's been a dream to work with Vijay sir. I want to talk about Vijay sir here as we have worked with him many times in the past. He works so tirelessly for his fans. Especially for 'Aalaporan Tamizhan,' is very special, it was hot while shooting the song, it was very hard to shoot but Vijay never cared about all that and gave his best. Mainly for the holy sequence, he strained a lot to shoot that.

This song is extremely close to my heart. We worked very hard for this song and Vijay sir had always done it very effortlessly.

He loves and believes in his fans the most. He is like a brother to me and to the people of Chennai. I thank Atlee and Vijay for the lovely moment"
