Coronavirus has been declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organisation, and many countries have adopted several quarantine measures such as mass isolation and distribution of masks to prevent the disease.
Even film industries have felt the pinch of the oubreak, with major releases getting postponed and filming halted as a result. Recently, two Tamil films, namely Kavalthurai Ungal Nanban and Kaadan (Aranya in Telugu and Haathi Mere Saathi in Hindi) have postponed their releases.
Directed by RDM, Kavalthurai Ungal Nanban features Suresh Ravi and Raveena Ravi as leads while Mime Gopi plays the role of a cop in the film. Produced by BR Talkies Corporation & White Moon Talkies, the film was scheduled to release on March 20 and the team is yet to announce their new release date.
The trilingual was postponed, keeping in account the health and happiness of all, and the team will also be shortly announcing their new release date. Several summer releases, such as the James Bond film No Time to Die and the Hindi action film Sooryavanshi have postponed their releases due to the situation.
