Actor Kavin became a household name after Bigg Boss. He was a contestant on the third season of this reality show in Tamil and opted to leave when such an opportunity presented itself. Malaysian singer Mugen Rao emerged as the winner that season.

Kavin has acted in films like Sathriyan, and Natpuna Enanu Theriyuma, and in the latter movie he played the lead role alongside Remya Nambeesan. The actor shot to fame through Saravanan Meenakshi serial on Vijay TV in which he played the lead role. He had also hosted Vettaiyadu Vilaiyadhu show.
Kavin is next expected to be seen onscreen related to movie 'Lift', in which he will feature as the leading hero. Kavin has pairing with Amritha Aiyer of Thalapathy Vijay's Bigil fame (Captain Thendral) as the female lead in this project, directed and produced by debutant Vineeth.
