Salman Khan is working on his next film with Ali Abbas Zafar. The film is titled Bharat and the project went on floors earlier this month. The team had roped in Priyanka Chopra to play the female lead, but she has walked out of the project due to her wedding with boyfriend Nick Jonas. He confirmed it through his Twitter handle saying: "Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of @Bharat_TheFilm & and the reason is very very special , she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her ... Team Bharat wishes @priyankachopra loads of love & happiness for life."
Reports suggest that Katrina Kaif has been brought onboard as a replacement for Priyanka. Ali Abbas Zafar and Salman Khan have previously combined for Tiger Zinda Hai. In addition to this, Salman and Katrina have worked on Ek Tha Tiger, Partner, Maine Pyaar Kiya etc., They also performed together in the Dabangg tour recently. The movie, produced by Reel Pictures and T-Series, will release on Eid 2019.
