Earlier in the day, we had reported that Karuppan's early morning shows were canceled due to financial issues. Since it is a festival day, even theatres in Chennai city had special early morning shows. People who woke up early to catch the film were utterly disappointed.

We now have some happy news for all Vijay Sethupathi fans. The issue has been sorted now, and the shows have started in some screens across Tamil Nadu. Some of the theatres will soon begin screening.
