Director Thiru, who is famous for directing 3 films, Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai, Samar and Naan Sigappu Manithan, all starring actor Vishal, is now coming out of his zone to start his next with Navarasa Nayagan Karthik and his son, Gautham Karthik. There were many questions raised about when Karthik and Gautham will act together, and it looks like the time has finally arrived!

Gautham Karthik has been riding on some success in recent times with audience-friendly films like Rangoon, Ivan Thanthiran, and Hara Hara Mahadevaki and his father is busy with Suriya's Thaana Serndha Koottam directed by Vignesh ShivN. This movie will be bankrolled by G Dhananjayan, who earlier distributed Gautham's Ivan Thanthiran through the banner, Creative Entertainers and Distributors. It is said that the father-son duo was waiting for the right script to act together in and Thiru has narrated a perfect story that floored them.
