Jeevankumar, an ardent fan of actor Karthi who was also the District head of Thiruvannaamalai Karthi Fans Welfare Association, passed away in a tragic car accident while on the way from Chennai to Thiruvannaamalai. He was aged 27.

Three of his friends from the association, who were travelling with him, were heavily injured. Karthi will attend the funeral to honour Jeevankumar.
