Earlier yesterday (September 24), it was reported that the team of Karthi's Dev were stranded in Kulu Manali without being able to shoot, due to heavy rains, and landslides. The film's producer S Lakshman of Prince Pictures incurred a loss of Rs 1.5 crores since the shoot didn't happen due to the natural calamity.
 

Meanwhile, Karthi's fans and the Tamil Cinema audience were enquiring about the status of the cast and crew who were stranded at Kulu Manali. The Theeran actor took to his social media space this morning to make it clear that him and his team are safe. Karthi revealed that he is back to Chennai, however, the director (Rajath), cinematographer, and others are still there, safe at Manali.


Karthi posted, "Friends, Few of us came back to Chennai last night. Director, Cameraman and crew are still in Manali but they are safe. Since there is no power and roads are cut off they will come down after a day. Hope rain stops soon!"


Director of the film, Rajath Ravishankar posted, "Hi everyone, sorry for the delayed reply. Thanks a lot to everyone who has been enquring about our well being. The last 3 days for me and my team has been chiotic, we were unable to move because of the heavy rains/floods and our producer has incurred a loss due to this natural calamity. On one side we are upset about whats happened but your support has kept us all geared up and active.
 

We are really thankful to all of our brothers and sisters back home, fans, audience, press/media and family for this unconditional support.
