Actor Kamal Haasan, who is celebrating his birthday today (November 7), has taken the occasion as an opportunity to address the press and media, to talk about his entry into politics and the ideas he holds for the future. The latest breaking move from Kamal is that, he has launched a new app called the ‘Maiam Whistle’ app, which would serve as a platform for people to register their problems. It has been stated to be a ‘citizens platform’.

This idea is strikingly similar to the ‘Pugar Petti’ idea, which had been used in Shankar’s Mudhalvan. Both the ideas work on similar lines of dealing with people’s issues and problems. We shall have to wait to find out how this ‘Maiam app’ functions and how people will receive and use it. Nevertheless, this is a breaking move by Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan on his birthday.
