Legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam's death has made a lot of us emotional. A lot of you might have known that SPB and Kamal Haasan were good friends and therefore, it comes across as no surprise that the veteran singer's death has plunged Ulaganayagan into unthinkable darkness.
In a new video tribute, Haasan says, "He used to be my critic and counsel. He wasn't keen on acting. But I made him to. He dubbed for my films in Telugu - maybe for 100 or more or even 150 films. There is an SPB song for every occasion - he even sang one for COVID warriors. He acted as my PRO on several occasions. His singing hasn't improver ever since coming into the industry, it was always good."
He further continued, "He was never jealous of my singing nor was I of his acting. A lot of people accepted that he was the best. Death is a part of life. But he is also alive in other forms... in the form of songs, his acting, etc."
