Actor STR is currently working on Maanadu, that is directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Suresh Kamatchi. We had earlier reported that actress Kalyani Priyadarshan has been roped in to play the female lead of the project.
Now, the producer has taken to Twitter to confirm this news, saying: "#str in#maananu updates!! STR was last seen in Sundar C's Vantha Rajavathaan, produced by Lyca Productions. The film also had Megha Akash, Catherine Tresa, Ramya Krishnan, Prabhu, Nasser and others in pivotal roles, while Hiphop Tamizha composed the music.
Kalyani is currently working on Sivakarthikeyan's Hero, directed by PS Mithran of Irumbuthirai fame, which will be the 15th film of his career. Stay tuned for more updates.
