After his film Rummy starring Vijay Sethupathi, director Balakrishnan has begun shooting his next with actors Rahman and Guru Somadundaram (of Joker fame). Titled Kadayudham, the film will trace the journey of two men following their dreams.

Sushma Raj, who was the heroine in India Pakistan, will play the female lead. Shri Valli Studio bankrolls this project, the shooting for which started in Pudukkottai and will continue in Chennai, Pollachi and Kerala.
