96 is an upcoming film directed by C. Prem Kumar, who was also the cinematographer of Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom. The romantic drama features Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha in the lead roles. Govind Menon of Thaikudam Bridge fame. The team has released a new song titled Kaathale Kaathale, featuring both the lead actors. The song has been sung by Chinmayi and Govind himself. 

The song which is an exuberant, youthful song, also featured in the first teaser that released a few days ago. The teaser was a huge hit among netizens and this has certainly raised expectations for the film. The film is bankrolled by Nandagopal of Madras Enterprises. The film is set to release shortly.
