Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming Kaala is touted to revolve around a slum set up in Mumbai, for which art director Ramalingam had erected a huge set during the shoot of the related portions. 

Now, we have received word that Dhanush's upcoming Vada Chennai, directed by Vetrimaaran, also has many portions shot in the same set with changes to make it resemble an area in Chennai. 

Notably, Dhanush's Wunderbar Films is the production house bankrolling both projects.
