105 YEAR OLD VETERAN PRODUCER PASSES AWAY

K Raghava, one of the senior most producers of Telugu film industry breathed his last today morning, July 31. He was 105 years old and has seen 100 years of Indian Cinema. 

He owned a production banner called Pratap Arts Productions and has funded over 30 movies with a majority of them turning out to be blockbusters.

K Raghava was born in 1913 and he left his home to Kolkata when he was just eight years old. After a few struggling years, he joined Silent Pictures as a trolley puller. He then found a job with the Maharaja of Mirzapur who was into filmmaking and after a lot of struggle, he eventually became a film producer.

K Raghava was conferred with the prestigious Raghupathi Venkaiah Award a few years back.
