Popular actress, Jyothika was last seen on screen in Jackpot that featured Revathy, Anandhraj, Yogi Babu and Mansoor Ali Khan in important roles. Directed by 'Gulebaghavali' director Kalyan, the film was well-received by the audiences.
The actress had recently hit the headlines for her upcoming film, Thambi that also features her brother-in-law, Karthi, Sathyaraj, Nikhila Vimal in pivotal roles. Directed by Papanasam fame director Jeethu Joseph, the film’s looks and teaser have piqued the interest.
She is also busy with her another project which is titled as Ponmagal Vandhal which is written and directed by JJ Fredrick. Apart from this, the actress has bagged another untitled film which will be written and directed by Era Saravanan.
The upcoming film will be bankrolled by Suriya's 2D Entertainment and will feature Sasikumar, Samuthirakani, Soori, Kalaiyarasan amongst others in important roles. The film will feature music composed by D Imman. Set in a rural backdrop, this film will emphasise the strength of relationships.
