Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh's debut Tamil film titled 'Friendship', which has Bigg Boss fame Losliya playing the female lead is all set for release on September 17 in theatres worldwide. Ahead of the much-awaited movie's release, the makers released the trailer of the film directed by John Paul Raj and Sham Suriya and the story looks to ride high on emotions.
Actor Arya and Director Venkat Prabhu released the 2.16-minute-long trailer of the film. The story of the movie, which is set predominantly on college campuses, handles varied concepts ranging from the power of friendship, romance, humour, victim shaming, student politics, college life and more. It also has ample action sequences to entertain the audience.
Thanking Venkat Prabhu and Arya for releasing the tamil and Telugu trailers of the movie, Harbhajan Singh gave a signature reply in Tamil for both of them. Replying to Arya, he pulled the 'Sarpatta Parambarai' reference and asked 'Kabilan' to take him on his cycle just like he did with his Rangan Vaathiyar. He wrote, "Kabila @arya_offl Take me on a round in your cycle. Thank you Arya ji."
The movie's cast also has Action King Arjun in an important role and comedian Sathish playing Harbhajan's friend. The film is jointly produced by Seantoa Studios and Cinemaass Studio with music by DM Udhaya Kumar.
