The ongoing Coronavirus has turned the entire world upside down. While many have started to adapt to the new lifestyles that they are forced with, several others like the migrant workers who are currently stuck in different cities are still trying their best to return to their homes.
We had come across several heart-wrenching stories of these migrant workers dying without anything to eat or drink and travelling along with their families on foot to their homes. The railway department are also trying their best to help them out.
In one such incident, popular actress, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and her mom can be seen helping out an entire train at the Chennai Central Railway Station that is carrying around 1600 migrant workers to their home-towns by distributing bread packets to them within 30 minutes.
Varu who is a strong social activist running the Save Shakti organization took to her social media and shared a video in which her mother Chaya along with two others can be seen distributing food. Going by the comments, looks like the mother-daughter duo are praised for their much-needed work! Check out -
