Petta is Rajinikanth's upcoming movie, that is slated for a release on 10th January. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, and produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner Sun Pictures, the film has a starcast of Vijay Sethupathi, Simran, Trisha, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sasikumar, Megha Akash and Bobby Simha.
The team has now released the lyrical video of the song - Ilamai Thirumbudhe, which is a melody by Anirudh Ravichander. Dhanush has penned the lyrics while Anirudh has sung it himself.
