Yogi Babu is one of the biggest and busiest actors in the industry. The ace-comedian-cum-actor is currently working on more than ten projects which also includes the much-expected Atlee-Shah Rukh Khan-Nayanthara project.
Yogi Babu was last seen in Santhanam's 'Dikkiloona' and Vijay Sethupathi's 'Annabelle Sethupathi'. He recently finished dubbing for Prashanth's upcoming movie 'Andhagan' and has a slew of upcoming films including Vijay's 'Beast', Ajith's 'Valimai, Director Hari's 'AV33' aka 'Yaanai', Sivakarthikeyan's 'Doctor', 'Thamezharasan', an untitled movie with Legend Saravanan, 'Kasethan Kadavulada 2'. He is also awaiting the release of Sundar C's 'Aranmanai 3' which is hitting the big screens on October 14.
Amidst this hectic schedule, Yogi Babu's 'Pei Mama' movie's release was also announced. The movie which has the comedian in the lead role, features Kovai Sarala, MS Bhaskar, Mottai Rajendran and Malavika Menon in prominent roles. The horror-comedy movie directed by Sakthi Chidambaram has managed to grab attention for its poster which was dropped as a surprise for fans, but it made headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Twitter users pointed out that the poster resembles Bollywood film 'Bhoot: The Haunted Ship', starring Vicky Kaushal in the lead role. While a few speculated that it might be a fan-made poster, many clarified that it was the real one and that the characters of this movie were made to fit inside the other poster using 'face-swapping technology.'
