Hollywood singer John Legend and wife Chrissy Teigen were expecting their third child. However, Chrissy, who’s a model and a TV personality suffered a miscarriage as she was diagnosed with a partial placenta abruption 20 weeks into her pregnancy.
Chrissy shared pictures from the hospital later and penned a heart-wrenching post for her unborn son. Now, she has written an emotional eight-page long essay describing her loss on her social media.
“I didn’t know how to come back to real life so I wrote this piece for Medium with hopes that I can somehow move on but as soon as I posted it, tears flew out because it felt so....final. I don’t want to ever not remember jack.” She thanked everyone for the love, care, and support during the hard times. In the piece for Medium, Chrissy Teigen spoke about her placenta problems and explained what happened 20 weeks into her third pregnancy. She wrote, ‘I had always had placenta problems,” and continued, “I had to deliver Miles a month early because his stomach wasn’t getting enough food from my placenta. But this was my first abruption. We monitored it very closely, hoping for things to heal and stop. In bed, I bled and bled, lightly but all day, changing my own diapers every couple of hours when the blood got uncomfortable to lay in. I actually became an adult diaper expert for my own personal entertainment,” she wrote on Instagram.

Sending you so much love!!
It’s brave what you did and how you shared it. And jack is brave too. In the trees and the sun and the rainbows. Sending you both big love.
I wouldn’t want anyone to have to go through this, but for anyone who does, I’m so glad they have this to hold on to.
You are a gift. Sharing this will make so many people feel less alone. Loving you guys. (sic)
