Sivakarthikeyan's family drama 'Namma Veetu Pillai' is currently running successfully in theatres, and the actor in engaged in a number of biggies to enthral his fans. One of his upcoming films is 'Hero'. This film is directed by P.S Mithran of Vishal's 'Irumbu Thirai' fame and produced by KJR Studios.
The film features Kalyani Priyadarshan as the female lead and also stars action king Arjun and Abhay Deol in key roles, with Yuvan scoring the music. The film is slated for December 20th release and now, there is a conflict has risen with the title of the film.
'Tribal Arts' is a popular production studio which has registered the title 'Hero' in July, 2017. They have issued a notice to KJR Studios to 'cease and desist' from using the title. Further, Tribal Arts say that this title is set to be used for their upcoming film with Vijay Devarkonda and Malavika Mohanan (Petta fame) which will be releasing in 5 languages, that has also begun its shooting.
From the producer's council, they have reverted to this issue to KJR Studios that this mix-up had happened due to clerical-mistake and to change the name of Sivakarthikeyan's film, as Tribal Arts had registered the name earlier. Stay tuned to know further developments on this.
