Dharala Prabhu was well-received by the audiences and critics alike. However, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the film's run was disrupted and it will be re-released after the lockdown ends.
The actor has Kasada Thapara, an untitled film with director Sanjay Bharathi and O Manapenne with Priya Bhavani Shankar, which is the official remake of Telugu hit Pelli Choopulu lined up in his pipeline.

In that, he shared various interesting details including the new things he is learning in this lockdown.
