Sivakarthikeyan and Mohan Raja’s upcoming film Velikkaran is planned for a December 22nd release. The makers have been honoring the distributors of the film by introducing them one after another.

The latest to join the list would be GN Alagar Samy of Sushma Cine Arts who has acquired the film's MR Area rights. 24Studios confirmed the news through their official Twitter space, "Happy to announce our @Siva_Kartikeyan in @jayam_mohanraja ‘s #Velaikkaran MR Area signs with G.N.Alagar Samy of Sushma Cine Arts😊👍"
