GK Cinemas is one of the popular theatres in Chennai, located at Lakshmi Nagar in Porur. As reported earlier, a new branch of GK Cinemas is now all set to open on August 25, coming Saturday.
 

Poonga Theatre, in Manampathy, Uthiramerur,  has been renovated and bought under the unit of GK Cinemas, which will be open for public from August 25.  The theatre will have all the latest technologies including Dolby Atmos Sound, 4K Projection Screen, and also the provision of screening 3D films.

This one screen theatre will open its account with two Tamil films, Kolamaavu Kokila and Kadaikutty Singam for this weekend. Kolamaavu Kokila will play three shows for the day, while the Karthi starrer will get one show in the noon.
