Super Deluxe is a recent film directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja that had Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Mysskin, Samantha Akkineni, Gayathrie Shankar, Mirnalini Ravi, Ramya Krishnan, Bagavathi Perumal and others as a part of the starcast.

It was produced by Thiagarajan Kumararaja himself under the banner Tyler Durden and Kino Fist, in association with East West Dream Work Entertainment, and Alchemy Vision Workz. It also marked Thiagarajan Kumararaja's return to direction, after he made his debut through the cult film Aaranya Kaandam, 8 years ago.

The team has released a new video that has actress Gayathrie sharing her experience of working in the film. When asked about how she was convinced to play the role of Jothi (Her character's name in the film), she said:

"As far as I know, I thought Super Deluxe cast was fixed and they had shot some portions were already shot. Then Thiagarajan told me that he has a role for me in the film. I was genuinely surprised. He was very modest while approaching me.

He said I will be playing the role of a mother of a small child, and was skeptical if I would accept the role. He even went on to ask me to spit on him if needed. My mind froze the moment he said he has a role for me. Whatever he said after that didn't register in my mind. So that's how it happened."

Super Deluxe had music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while Nirav Shah and P.S Vinod handled the cinematography. Gopi Prasanna has designed the posters and the screenplay was co-written by Neelan K Shekhar, Mysskin and Nalan Kumarasamy along with the Thiagarajan Kumararaja.
