The Ockhi cyclone that hit the shores of Tamil Nadu has affected the lives of the people of Kanyakumari to a very great extent. As an initiative towards relief measures for the affected fishermen and farmers in Kanyakumari, actor-music director G. V. Prakash Kumar has joined hands with Edudharma.


Edudharma is an internet crowdfunding community that has been providing help to the needy. G. V. Prakash has now teamed up with Edudharma and is said to have collected Rs 15 lakh through crowdfunding. The plan is to provide ration for the people in the cyclone-hit areas with a relief of Rs.2,000 per month for 500 families.
