Sundeep Kishan and Vijay Sethupathi have been roped in to play lead roles in the upcoming film, 'Michael'. On August 27, the makers announced the title and unveiled the first-look poster of the film. The pan-Indian movie, which is touted to be an action drama, is directed by Ranjit Jeyakodi.
On the occasion of producer Suniel Narang’s birthday, the film's title and poster was revealed by Vijay Sethupathi, which showed Sundeep Kishan in handcuffs with bloodstains all over his hands. He can also be seen holding brass knuckles in one hand.
Sharing the poster, Vijay Sethupathi wrote, "Happy to be part of my dear most Director @je.ranjit ‘s Film. Here is Title Poster of @sundeepkishan ‘s #MICHAEL." Sundeep too responded to the post and shared the poster from his handle. He wrote, "Thank you Anna…For truly being The Makkal Selvan. @actorvijaysethupathi Humbly announcing our Ambitious #MICHEAL. A @je.ranjit Film. A @SVCLLP & @KaranCOffl. Happy Birthday @asiansunielnarang Sir, Love you."
Earlier, Sundeep posted a cute picture with Vijay Sethupathi giving him his signature peck on the cheek. "Big Brother Love...The one & only “Makkal Selvan” @actorvijaysethupathi...Loading Soon...Loading Soon…," he captioned the photo.
'Michael', which will also be made in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages, is a joint production venture of Bharath Chowdary, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, Narayan Das K Narang under Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Karan C Productions LLP banners.
Meanwhile Vijay Sethupathi has a host of upcoming films including 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal' which wrapped up recently, 'Laabam' which is slated to release on September 9, 'Vikram' with Kamal Haasan and Fahadh Faasil, 'Annabelle Sethupathi' which releases on Disney _ Hotstar on September 17 and many others in the pipeline.
