Netflix’s latest Tamil anthology film - Paava Kadhaigal - is all set to release on December 18. The anthology has four short films about human relationships directed by four renowned directors Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sudha Kongara, Vetri Maaran and Vignesh Shivan.
Written and directed by GVM, Vaanmagal is the story of Satya (Gautham Menon) and Mathiazhagu (Simran) who belong to a respectable and happy family. But their lives turn upside down when the unexpected happens to their youngest daughter, Ponnuthaayi.
During an exclusive interview with Jyotika in Behindwoods, the duo Simran and GVM talk about how important this film is to all of us and through this film they are making it a point to create awareness to an extent.
Jyotika can be seen heaping praises on the duo for their remarkable performances and GVM thanks Simran for the acting tips. Here’s when the director decided to reveal his “shocking” moment. In a scene, when Gautham was trying to maintain a 7 feet distance between Satya and Mathiazhagu, in a shot, Simran suddenly put her hand on GVM’s face, and that particular “shocking” reaction was there as the final shot.
