Actor Dhanush’s upcoming action thriller, ‘Enai Noki Paayum Thota’ is written-directed-produced by Gautham Menon has Megha Akash in the lead. Two months back, one of the producers of the film, Madan announced that the trailer of the film was ready and they were looking forward for an April release. But looks like the film has been further delayed.
Apart from ENPT, Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘SindhuBaadh’ featuring Anjali in the lead and directed by S.U.Arun Kumar of Pannaiyarum Padminiyum and Sethupathi fame, was supposed to hit the screens on May 16th but then it has been pushed to the second week of June.
However, due to a court order these films' release has been put on a stay. According to the legal notice sent by Arka Media Works, the Telangana High Court had ordered status quo to be maintained for the release of the above mentioned two films.
The owner of K Productions owes them an amount of 17.60 crores towards purchase of the exploitation rights of the feature film, Baahubali – The Conclusion in Tamil Nadu. As Escape Artists – Madan is also named as the co-obligant in the issue, a week’s time has been given to the producers to provide security for the amount owed and till then, according to the Hyderabad High Court, ‘ENPT’ and ‘Sindhubaadh’s release has been put on stay.
