Lyricist and rapper Arivu has been vocal about many social issues and conveys it's commentary through his art form. Also a member of the band Casteless Collective co-founded by Pa. Ranjith and music composer Tenma.
Apart from his work in independent music, Arivu has also written and crooned many songs in Kollywood, including 'Urimaiyai Meetpom' from Kaala and the recent 'Maara theme' from Soorarai Pottru, for which Arivu was the lyricist.
The artist was praised by DMK chief M.K. Stalin, who was impressed by his single 'Sanda Seivom', a song that voices against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Registry of Citizens (NRC) laws brought by the Narendra Modi-led Central Government.
Arivu met MK Stalin at his residence and the pictures were posted along with the tweet. The politican also gifted a Murasoli magazine to the fiery rapper.
