Director Venkat Prabhu had come up with a mass entertainer, Mankatha that boasts of a huge star cast which includes Ajith, Trisha, Arjun, Andrea, Lakshmi Rai, Premji, Anjali and Vaibhav in important roles. Ajith has a pivotal role in the film and all others orbit around him.
This was Thala Ajith’s milestone film and the expectations that came from it knew no bounds as Ajith was shown in a negative role. What adds more flavour to Thala’s mass is the background music that was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja who is celebrating his birthday today.
Meanwhile, the director has a special treat for all the fans as August 31 (today) marks the eight years of the release of the film. Taking to his social media, Venkat Prabhu shared a pic from the shoot and that was the very first shot on the first day of shoot.
