Director SS Stanley’s father Savarimuthu passed away in Chennai. Cremation is expected to happen today evening.

SS Stanley is known for directing films like April Maadhathil and Pudhukottaiyilirundhu Saravanan. Apart from directing films, he has also acted in character roles. He played a small role in Vijay Sethupathi's Aandavan Kattalai recently.
