Director Shankar, of late, has been making it a point to appreciate a film and its team if the movie is impressive. He has previously praised Baahubali 2, Pa.Paandi, Thupparivaalan, Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, in the past, and now he has continued it for Aruvi too.
 

Shankar praised the team of Aruvi through his tweet, "Aruvi - A very good movie. Unmasks everything and everyone. Excellent work by Director Arun Prabhu, Adithi Balan and everyone performed very well."
