Thalapathy Vijay is an actor who rose to fame through his exquisite style, dance and impressive acting. He has taken up different roles and delivered equally striking performances across the many films he had taken up over his career. He began as a child artist before featuring the lead in Naalaiya Theerpu.

Incidentally, Naalaiya Theerpu was released on this date in 1992. The actor achieved his first breakthrough in Vikraman's Poove Unakaaga. The movie's different story line along with Vijay's realistic portrayal of true love moved the audience, thus highlighting the talent of the young actor.

After that, it took only a short time for Vijay to rise to fame, marking him as one of the favorite actors. Also, his off-screen behavior, humility, respect and love for his fans made him as one of the most loved stars as well. His massive fan base is the proof of the same.

Recently, Director SA Chandrasekhar, Shoba Chandrasekhar, Editor Mohan and family with Mohan Raja and Jayam Ravi amongst others attended 'Thani Manithan' book launch. There, Director SA Chandrasekhar reminisced about how he pleaded and made Thalapathy Vijay join Visual Communication degree in Loyola College, but one day he suddenly decided to stop his studies and wanted to become an actor. We are sure Director SAC will definitely be proud of the decision Actor Vijay took that day! Check out the video here!
