Director Ram Gopal Varma who is often known for his controversial tweets and unfiltered talks had recently hit the headlines when he had made a shocking statement, claiming that his doctor says that he's suffering from Coronavirus and later retracted by saying that he pulled an 'April Fools' prank.
Well, now he has again hit the headlines for his usual unique stint that he performed yesterday on Sunday at 9pm. According to our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Indians were asked to light up lamps for 9 minutes at 9 PM on April 5.
Several celebrities took to their social media and shared how they lighted up the lamps and posted their pictures. RGV too took to his Twitter handle and shared a controversial video in which he can be seen lighting a cigarette in style.
His video came along with a disclaimer note, “9 PM Disclaimer: Not following Corona warnings is far more dangerous than not following government warnings on cigarette smoking.”
