In an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, Director Perarasu known for his films such as Thirupaachi, Thirupathi, Sivakasi and Pazhani spoke about the successful 15-year-run of Vijay's film 'Thirupaachi' and mentioned that it was by accident that 'nee endha ooru...' song became a hit

Being a cult film in the 2000s, the film ran for 200 days in theatres. Director Perarasu spoke about why the movie became a huge hit, the brother-sister bonding showcased in the film and more.

He explains, "We made the tune and before showing it to him, we created dummy lyrics for the sake of it and to sing it in front of him. That was how the song was created." What was Vijay's reactions? "He kept silent and asked me as to who wrote the lyrics. I thought it was a mistake that I wrote it like that and got tensed. When I told him that it was dummy, he asked me not to change it."
Talking about the relationship between Thala and Thalapathy, he said, "Only the fans have wars, but both of them (Vijay and Ajith) are friendly. They don't have enmity between them."

"There used to films where it looks like as if Vijay's dialogues were attacking Ajith and vice versa. I used to be very careful to place dialogues so that it wouldn't even coincidentally hurt fans," he adds.
