Director Mohan Raja stunned the industry and the audience with his 2015 action thriller 'Thani Oruvan' that starred Jayam Ravi, Arvind Swami, and Nayanthara in the lead roles.
The film was selected as one of Behindwoods's 150 cult classics of Tamil cinema and in a candid interaction with Mohan Raja about the film, the director revealed spicy unknown stories.
When asked about the first compliment from the industry, Mohan Raja shared that Thalapathy Vijay had called him first. Saying "I'm hearing a lot of good things. Carry on the good work" Vijay had congratulated Mohan Raja.
The director also shared that Thala Ajith was one of his first consideration for doing the stylish role of Siddharth Abimanyu. "It was a wish, but we couldn't do it," said Mohan. Check out the exclusive video, below:
