After playing an unforgettable character 'Rajan' in director Vetri Maaran's crime epic 'Vada Chennai', acclaimed actor-director Ameer will be essaying the lead in 'Mugavari' and 'Nepali' director V.Z. Dhorai's upcoming film Naarkaali. The first look poster of the film was out recently.
The film is produced by Adham Bava under the banner Moon Pictures, Naarkaali commenced its shooting process from today. Director Subramaniam Siva, who had previously helmed acclaimed features such as 'Thiruda Thirudi' and 'Yogi' will be joining the film's cast.
Subramaniam Siva was also featured in Vada Chennai, and was recently seen in Asuran, in which the director played the role of Dhanush's brother in the film. Speaking to Behindwoods, the filmmaker said that he will be portraying the role of a lawyer in the Naarkaali.
On the work front, Subramaniam Siva is busy with the re-recording process of his forthcoming directorial 'Vellai Yanai', which stars Samuthirakani and Aathmiya as leads and features music by Santhosh Narayanan.
