VIJAY TURNED DIRECTOR FOR A 'CAMEO' SCENE IN MASTER?: CLARIFICATION HERE

Vijay will be donning the role of a professor in director Lokesh Kanagaraj's third film Master,  also starring Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Arjun Das, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, Andrea in pivotal roles.

Produced by Xavier Britto of XB Film Creators, Master is set to release in April this year while the audio launch is scheduled to be held at Hotel Leela Palace on March 15. The film's dubbing work is currently happening in full swing, and Vijay has completed dubbing for his portions on March 4.

Recently, social media was rife with speculation that Vijay had directed a scene in the film which will feature cameo appearances of director Lokesh Kanagaraj and Rathna Kumar, the co-writer of Master. While it is indeed true that the duo will be appearing in a very interesting cameo roles in the film, our close sources have revealed that Vijay did not direct the scene, thereby calling it a rumour.

With a technical crew that consists of cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan, editor Philomin Raj and art director Sathees Kumar, Master will see the collaboration of Vijay and composer Anirudh after a gap of five years post Kaththi, which was directed by AR Murugadoss.
