Pattas is directed by the 'Ethir Neechal' and 'Kodi' director R.S Durai Senthilkumar. The movie is produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan under the banner Sathya Jyothi Films.
The camera will be wielded by Om Prakash, who will be working with Dhanush for the fourth time after Maari, Anegan and Maari 2. Lahari Music label have bagged the soundtrack rights of the film.
Sneha will pair with the father role of Dhanush and NOTA fame Mehreen Pirzada is also part of the cast. The music is composed by Vivek Mervin duo. The film also features Sarabham fame actor Naveen Chandra, who will be seen playing the antagonist role.
