Superstar Rajinikanth's cop thriller Darbar had hit the screens and is setting the cash registers ringing. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film stars Nayanthara as female lead while the supporting cast include Yogi Babu, Nivedha Thomas, Suniel Shetty.
The film is received well by fans for the charisma of its lead actor and the chemistry between Rajinikanth and Nivedha Thomas, who essays the role of his daughter. The film has collected over Rs 2.25 crores at the the Chennai box office on it's opening day.
Recently, the official account of Tirunelveli-based theatre Ram Muthuram Cinemas have recently tweeted that actor and Rajinikanth's son-in-law Dhanush has watched Darbar on the night of the film's release. The actor took a break from the shoot of his upcoming project Karnan, directed by Mari Selvaraj
Actor Dhanush is currently awaiting the release of Pattas on January 15 and is presently working in various projects- Karnan, D40 and D44, currently under various stages of production.
