Actor Dhanush's action film, Pattas, released this Pongal on January 15 this year. Produced by Senthil Thyagarajan and Arun Thyagarajan under the banner Sathya Jyothi Films, Pattas stars Sneha, Mehreen Pirzada, KPY Sathish, Naveen Chandra in central roles.
The film's FDFS was attended by Dhanush's son, and fans have received the film in a warm manner. Pattas is praised by audiences for the electrifying performances of Dhanush and Sneha and the film's introduction to the ancient martial art form called 'Adimurai'.
One of the audiences praised the second half and Dhanush's versatile performance, the portrayal of Tamil culture and the flashback portion of the film. Pattas features music by Vivek-Merwin and cinematography by Om Prakash.
