Mumbai: Dhanush has expressed his opinions after watching Jhund that released today featuring Amitabh Bachchan.
The film is based on the life of Vijay Barse, a sports teacher from Nagpur who started the NGO Slum Soccer. Apart from Amitabh Bachchan, the film also features Akash Thosar and Rinku Rajguru. The film is written and directed by Nagaraj Manjule. The movie has released worldwide today (04.03.2021).
The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Sandip Ssingh Raaj Hiremath, Savita Hiremath, Nagraj Manjule, Gargee Kulkarni and Meenu Arora under the banner of T-Series, Tandav Films Entertainment Pvt.Ltd and Aatpat Films.
The film stars Amitabh Bachchan as a professor trying to form a football team involving the slum children.
The makers have released a video of what Dhanush said after watching the film. In that, he can be seen saying that the film is a masterpiece. "I don't know where to start. Mind-blown, simply mind-blown. Nagraj Manjule is a voice to be heard, a force to reckon with. I can say a thousand technical things about this film that it's brilliant. At the end of the day, it's about the emotion that triumphs over everything else. It is an experience that everybody should go through. It is a masterpiece and this is going to make a lot of heads turn. I am very happy to have watched this film."
