Dhanush and Mari Selvaraj are joining hands for Karnan. The film also stars Lal, Rajisha Vijayan, Yogi Babu, Lakshmi Priya and others in pivotal roles. Santosh Narayanan has composed the music for this film which is being produced by ‘V Creations’ Kalaipuli S Thaanu.
Mari Selvaraj shot most of the film in a village-like set near Tirunelveli. The crew said that the shooting of the film was completed on December 9 last year. The crew has announced that the film will release in theaters in April; however, no specific date has been announced as yet. The video of this announcement has been well received by the fans as a special teaser has been attached with it.
