Actor Dhanush, who has already had a spectacular start this year with his dual-role movie Pattas, has quite a few films to expect this year. That includes his film D40 with Karthik Subbaraj, and another with Mari Selvaraj. Also, he has committed a film with Sun Pictures, D44, about which we had earlier given a splendid breaking update that while the movie is expected to be directed by Mithran Jawahar, the movie's story, screenplay and dialogues will be written by Dhanush himself.

With this many number of films in his kitty, Dhanush has no qualms about taking up another. He will feature in this upcoming movie Atrangi Re, which will see Sara Ali Khan as the leading lady. While a lot of speculations went about Hrithik Roshan joining the cast, it has now been announced that Akshay Kumar will also play a role in this movie.

While this movie will be a Aanand L Rai directorial, it will mark the first time Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar will share screenspace. Also, it is interesting to note that Dhanush is joining hands with Aanand 7 years after their first collaboration in Raanjhanaa, which marked Dhanush's Bollywood debut with Sonam Kapoor.

After that, Dhanush also acted in Shamitabh in which he shared screenspace with Bollywood's Shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan. The movie also featured Akshara Haasan and was directed by R Balki. 'Atrangi Re' will mark Dhanush's third Bollywood venture.
