Dhanush and Karthik Subbaraj had decided to work on a project together before the latter bagged a film with Superstar Rajinikanth, Petta. The project was put on hold for a while, so that Petta could be completed.
However, now the director has decided to resume work on the film with Dhanush. The film is bankrolled by S.Sashikanth and Chakravarthy under the banner Y NOT Studios and Reliance Entertainment, the film features music by Santhosh Narayanan.
Apart from Dhanush, the gangster thriller also features Malayalam actress Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead. While the cinematography will be handled by Shreyaas Krishna, the cuts of the film will be handled by Vivek Hariharan.
Our sources have revealed that the photo shoot for this upcoming project took place on Friday, August 23rd (yesterday) and the shoot is expected to start by the end of this month in Canada. Watch this space for more exciting updates.
